Paul Traub Associates Limited is a Human
Factors and Ergonomics Company.

With over 20 years experience in working in
hazardous industries we provide a unique, pragmatic,
yet focused approach. Our technical expertise

organisations. The majority of our work is follow on

The scope of our human factors services includes
technical support, assessment and system
assurance.

Paul Traub MSc BSc FErgS Eur.Erg is the
Managing Director and owner of Paul Traub
Associates Limited. His technical expertise
encompasses human risk assessment across
hazardous industries, which includes human error,
human factors integration, alarm management and
CCTV systems. He has over 20 years experience in
Defence, Rail, and Nuclear Human Factors. This has
included working on Military aircraft, Armoured
Fighting Vehicles, Signalling Systems, Nuclear
Power Plant, Trains, Submarines, Industrial Sites and
Submarine Rescue Systems.

Paul is a Fellow of the UK Ergonomics Society and a
Registered European Ergonomist. He has published
widely on safety and human factors to a number of
organisations including the Safety and Reliability
Society, INCOSE, RINA and the MoD. As part of his
professional expertise he contributed to the Yellow
Book Application note on human error and was the
human factors reviewer for Yellow Book 4. Paul is
also the UK representative for ISO 80416-2 (Basic
Principles for Graphical Symbols for use on
Equipment).
